IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING 'SAINTHOOD'

As I'm sure you all know, albums these days inevitably leak (wind up on the internet) before their official release date, sometimes months in advance. While we at .ca cannot prevent Sainthood from leaking, we support Tegan and Sara, and will not tolerate this forum being used to download or share copies of their new album. That said, please keep these rules in mind:

DO NOT ASK FOR DOWNLOADS OF THE NEW ALBUM

DO NOT USE THIS FORUM IN ANY WAY TO HELP OTHERS DOWNLOAD THE NEW ALBUM.

Remember - You're on a Tegan and Sara FAN site. If you do choose to download the album before it is released, please respect the artists who worked so hard on this music by refraining from discussing specifics (lyrics, etc) until the official release date.

To clarify - even FAKE Sainthood links etc are forbidden. It's like at the airport. You still get arrested even if you joke about a bomb.

Also, it's a pretty damn good way of spreading malicious material or viruses of some sorts so hoaxes have to be barred too to protect members.

And you can joke about whatever you like! Posting a fake leak isn't just joking though is it. And as it's been done before I thought it would be a bit unoriginal for you to joke about anyway!

I'm all for being funny. However, it's a little disheartening when someone posts a leak and then a handful of retards are extremely vocal about their enthusiasm for downloading it. Not jokingly, but sincerely so. There are a dozen warnings in various places not to post or download leaks from .ca, there is no excuse to not know the rules, and it doesn't bode well for when this thing inevitably does leak.

Also, we don't want to have to download every fake leak to make sure that it's fake. It's one rule, it's simple, it's clearly stated. We're not being hardasses. IT'S ONE RULE.

What are the rules about asking for new B-sides/bonus tracks that'll be available on iTunes? Usually you have to buy the whole album on iTunes to get the bonus tracks

Even though they'll likely only be available when buying the whole album, and can't be bought individually, they're still commercially available. So you can't ask for them or post links of them.
