since vere didn't had the time to do it, I just ask you guys

I'm looking for someone/a artist/someone who can draw really good, that designs my new tattoo
it's going to be on my left upper arm in black and white ... well and here comes the thing it's going to be a T&S related tattoo

this is what I was thinking of



so the squares should be filled

the filling: I thought of something, like to draw T&S lyrics ... maybe

(oh and the number and sizes of the squares can be changed)


so who wants to help me???

I can't promise anything amazing, and of course I wouldn't be the least bit insulted if you don't want to use it, but I'd to play around with it! what type of stuff do you want? - like, what lyrics are your favorite and what types of thing would you want to be on your body for forever?

well lyrics wise , i really really really love Soil Soil, it kinda sounds weird but I almost love every song of them, its hard to choose

i don't really know how it should look, that's like my problem, If I would know that I could tell it my tattoo artist and he would draw it, but since T&S fans are so creative, I thought someone here has a idea

this is a good idea though. i love the overlapping squares. how about you take aspects of your life that you think sum you up and then illustrating them. eg. if you value music then you can have an instrument that you play (or if you're like me then that would probably be a set of headphones haha) and then build from there. the more ideas you have the more you can choose from. family's always a good one.

ok, so I've gotten some done... and I like it so far. BUT I'm not sure what else to put on it... I know what I'd like, but I don't at all know what you're interested in other than T&S. are there any words that mean a lot to you? what are you passionate about? do you have any favorite artists? do you have favorite shapes/objects (i.e. Tegan's obsession w/ trees and Sara's preference to really geometric things)? is there anything you've gone through recently you want this to be symbolic of? I don't want to end up putting a lot of things that mean a lot to me on it... it's your tattoo

I used the quote "I'm feeling directionless, yes, but that's to be expected and I know that best." so hopefully that's one of your favorites from Soil, Soil.

oh - and what are your favorite colors??

what am I passionate about?, well music is like the most important thing in my life, so I'd say do something with music

and .. OK that might sound weird or I don't know, but I actually really like trees as well, well as a tattoo, they just look good as a tattoo, and trees would we cool , cos I might put some tree stuff on that arm too, later, and I also like geometric things, thats why I want the squares .... OK , that all might sound that I'm kinda copy their tattoos, but I'm not, thats why I'm a fan of them , cos we are kinda alike in some things, well in many things

ok, so I'm kind of stuck now. I sat down and tried to work on it and I just have a lot of questions...
how big is it going to be? I'm afraid I've made it way too detailed...
do you care if I switch up the format a little? like make one of the boxes a circle, make the boxes' outlines different colors, or make the one with the tree/henna-thing have, instead of the box, a box shaped outline - it'd look like the design I did over the left side of the tree box (or maybe you don't like the weird tree thing and would prefer a normal tree?)
do you not like that one box would be solid color? I like it, but you may think it's too plain.

and, this might be really weird, I know I would like it - but you might totally not... would you care if the little box on the left was some kind of optical illusion?

all the lines are straight, but they looked curved)
I just thought that would look cool, but maybe you wouldn't like it.


are there any other songs you'd want me to put in somehow... or do you want me to add more Soil, Soil stuff?

I think it's pretty cool, but I realized that it is a bit to much to put, different thinks in the squares , so I was thinking to do something like this



so like draw the picture in all of the squares , so that all the things I want in there are in one picture, if that's possible

that is not the final. i need to re-do it.
i need to make the bottom left lyrics windy like roots. and the tree/roots looks kinda gross.
what else would you like me to change?

it might be a little bit because i'm super busy, plus i have an astronomy exam tomorrow and this diptych i'm painting.

but i'll work on it soon because i really like it and i like your ideas for it.
