Reasons You Prefer Tegan...

but I love Sara a little too much.

Although I would probably consider myself an equal-shipper, I'm drawn to each of them for very different reasons,
Tegan seems like she has kind of the opposite personality of me - where she's loud and outgoing, I'm more reserved and quiet, like Sara. So, I'm attracted to Tegan's extroverted-ness.
Also, I think it's so adorable when she's telling a story on stage and then she goes off on some random tangent and then, inevitably, she says, "Why was I telling you this? Oh, right..." lol, I just noticed that she does that a lot.
And I love her tattoos and her labret piercing.
And she's an incredible lyricist/musician.

anyway, of course, there are so, so many other reasons, but yeah haha.

Now, in most cases I would consider myself an equal-liker bordering on S-teamer, but there's one category where Tegan has Sara beat: rad sunglasses. I've always had an affection for sunglasses, and whenever I see Tegan with some ridiculously bright/awesome/large pair on it makes my corneas smile.

Tegan has a sexy voice, i mean it's less shrilly than sara's [Hey sara - siders don't kill me xD] it's kinda gentle, and her wide jaw makes her look more androgynous...

But the thing that really makes me a T-teamer is a video I saw of her talking about her relationship with Sara, how Sara is the more emotionally distant one, wanting more independence from her sister, and Tegan is always wanting more and more of her twin...I don't know if I'm explaining this properly. But I have a sister who is 11 months older, and I feel the same way as Tegan, like I am always craving more closeness between the two of us but she is happy off on her own with her own life...

this makes me really relate to Tegan and that is why I love her the most.

Saw them live today and I've finally decided Tegan is where it's at. Sara is nice, but she's super soft and quiet.

Tegan is the rambunctious rocker with the crazy style. And she sounds like it in her songs/playing too.
