OMG did you see the new episode of...

Web Comics

Postby Chickabiddybex » Sun Oct 11, 2009 2:10 am

I feel they're different enough from paper-based comics to warrant their own thread.

So...
OMG I LOVE WEBCOMICS! :D
Especially QC.
I also like XKCD and Pictures for Sad Children

Anyone else read them religiously?

I could never really get into QC. I feel like it's more of a ongoing soap-opera-esque thing with a whole bunch of continous storylines, and I'd have to start from the begining to appreciate it, and I'm not reading 1000+ strips of it.

I really like Indexed (not really a comic per se, but really funny graphs and charts) thisisindexed.com

Cat and Girl is another really great one. catandgirl.com

And also Perry Bible Fellowship:

I know the guy who does XKCD. Or did. He was in a couple of my math classes in high school. Needless to say, we all hated him because he fucked the curve on everything he touched.

Nice guy, though.

I also read QC religiously. I've been reading it for about 3 years now. It's strange because I always, always hated dramatic comics in newspapers. I thought they were stupid and had no idea how people could follow them. Now it's the first thing I check on the computer in the morning, even before my email.

Besides that, I semi-regularly read Girls With Slingshots and Anders Loves Maria. I'm lazy. Google them.
